A Unique Location, Inspired by Nature and History
FACILITIES
Crowley is a beautiful and unique site for a country wedding. Located on 190 acres adjacent to the “Wild and Scenic” Myakka River; guests can explore the five unique habitats that make up the Crowley property; stroll through a replica of John Crowley’s original pioneer cabin, and walk through a pioneer museum with artifacts dating back to the 19th century. Climb the porch stairs to experience the unique culture of the historic, 116 year old Tatum House; a favorite site for wedding ceremonies.
The Learning Center, a screened building under beautiful live oak trees, offers a wonderful spot for receptions. It is adjacent to parking and our muscadine grape vineyard. Equipped with electricity and two handicap accessible bathrooms, it can easily accommodate 60 guests. Parking is available for approximately 100 cars. It is our experience that cars carry an average of two passengers. Large tents, holding up to 180 people for a sit down meal and erected near the Learning Center, are available to rent. Electrical outlets are easily accessed to facilitate evening lighting, DJ equipment, or to accommodate a five piece band.
RENTAL TIMES
The Learning Center and tent rentals are available 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Due to limited lighting the Tatum House, Pioneer Cabin, and Museum are only available 8 a.m. to dusk.
