Today’s Bow Hunter/Responsible Bow Hunters Class

Saturday, August 26, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  with a lunch break. Bring your own lunch* (highly suggested). Rain or shine.

Sunday, August 27, 1-3 p.m.  Rain or shine.

For Ages 8 and up. This course will include classroom time and practice shooting at targets (not at actual animals during the class) and will certify you as a safe bow hunter in any state or country that requires it. (Florida doesn’t require certification yet but it’s good idea to get trained as other states do require.) Bows will be supplied, unless you want to bring your own. Study materials will be provided as well.

Instructor: Riley Winans, lifelong archer and Certified Bow Hunter’s Safety Instructor.

Location: Learning Center (signs will guide you).

This class is sponsored by Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and National Bow Hunters Educational Foundation. A donation to Crowley is requested.

*Note: It is a 30 min drive for nearest restaurant, Snack foods available in Welcome Center on property.
